This is a copy of something I posted on Slashdot in response to an article about "Google Claims 'TheyJust Aren't That Big'"...
Well I for one totally trust Google because they said they aren't evil.
Microsoft
didn't say that. Yahoo didn't say that. AT&T didn't say that.
Starbucks didn't say that. The Salvation Army didn't say that.
Someone who isn't evil who says they aren't evil BY LOGIC must not be evil!
YOU CAN'T ARGUE WITH LOGIC!
Wait a second...
Their
motto is "Don't Be Evil". If we diagram that sentence then the implied
subject is You. So that would come out something like "Hey, you, don't
be evil."
So they never said they weren't evil, they just kind of
order everyone else to not be evil. Their motto isn't "We're Not Evil"
it is "Don't Be Evil".
You know what else? Their are SIX letters
in the name Google. There are basically THREE people running the show
(Brin, Page, Schmidt). So if EACH of them got a copy of the name that
would make 666!!! OMG!!! The number of the beast!!!
Well,
realistically Schmidt isn't really equal to Brin and Page, so I guess
it would really be 665. I guess that just makes Google the neighbor of
the beast.
